Imagine carving effortlessly downwind, unbound by the limitations of traditional inflatable wings or complex bridle setups. The Aeryn P1 Pocket Wing takes you further—upwind in a breeze, downwind riding the swell—with unparalleled ease.

This is more than a wing; it‘s a revolution in windfoiling. Designed by the same innovators behind two decades of high-performance foil kites for Peter Lynn and PLKB, the P1 brings simplicity and performance to every session.

Ultra-light and ready to launch in seconds, the P1 is free of unnecessary complexities—just throw it into the wind, and you‘re on your way.

And when you’re ready to focus solely on your ride, it packs away effortlessly, leaving you free to experience the elements without distraction. Ready to experience the freedom of breaking away from traditional setups?

The Aeryn P1 invites you to redefine what‘s possible in watersport foiling.

Launching Power

Getting on the foil starts with a clean, confident launch. A Pocket Wing must generate power quickly and effortlessly even in lighter winds to open up the lower end of your rideable range.

Upwind & Downwind Capability

Upwind performance is non-negotiable. A wing that can’t hold its line makes no sense. You need glide, control, and the freedom to carve downwind without compromise.

Depower Range

Reliable depower is key to unlocking a broader, more useable wind range. It gives you the freedom to ride longer, with better control and less fatigue no matter how the conditions shift.

Durability

Lightweight matters, but not at the cost of lifespan. Materials that are too thin wear out fast. A Pocket Wing should feel agile in your hands and stay that way over time.

P1 Features

The setting appears to be coastal waters near rocky cliffs or mountains. The turquoise-blue wings stand out vividly against the brown/reddish backdrop of the terrain and the blue water. This relatively new watersport uses the wing to harness wind power while the hydrofoil beneath the board lifts the rider above the water's surface, reducing drag and allowing for smoother movement across the water.

The structured cells and aerodynamic shape demonstrate premium Teijin fabric construction for optimal wind capture.

The shot from water level shows the wing's leading edge and structural lines as waves lap against it. Perfect conditions at Tenerife, known for consistent winds ideal for wing foiling, are evident with blue skies and gentle waves in the background.

“From day one, the goal was clear: create a wing that just feels right from the first flight. No steep learning curve, no quirks—just stable, intuitive control in your hands.”

“We wanted something you could trust in any wind, any direction. Whether you’re cruising downwind or pushing back up, the P1 holds its shape and its line. You’re not fighting the wing—you’re riding with it.”

“This had to be a wing you could bring anywhere. No hassle, from your backpack just throw it up in the air and go. It’s flying in seconds.”

“The wind range we achieved surprised even us. It handles lulls and gusts without a problem. That means fewer size up or down changes, more water time, and less mental load. You’re free to focus on the ride.”

“Originally we designed it to tow you into a foil. But it evolved fast. The upwind angles? Better than most wings I’ve flown. And it’s just as capable on land as it is on water. That versatility changed how we thought about the category.”

“This isn’t just a parawing. It’s a tool for riders who want to strip things back—to ride more with less. That’s the kind of freedom we built into the P1.”

The image shows a craftsman at work, focused on the detailed process of creating wing foiling equipment. This appears to be Aeryn, a designer who works with PLKB (Peter Lynn Kiteboarding), carefully working on what might be a parawing or kite component. He's wearing glasses and a dark jacket, concentrating on a piece of material that's likely part of the parawing construction. The workshop environment shows specialized equipment for precision work, including what appears to be a sewing machine.

P1 Tech Talk

Inside the Design with Michel Dekker

Nicolas Caillou

Product Tester

“We’ve tested dozens of prototypes over the past months and the P1 is the most refined parawing I’ve flown to date. It’s clean, powerful, and balanced. No gimmicks. Just smart design that works."

”Upwind performance was the first thing that stood out. I know many riders focus purely on downwind, but if we want this to be more than a niche, the ability to ride back upwind is key. The P1 holds its line like a traditional wing. That alone opens up a whole new level of freedom.”

“It also has incredible low-end power. I was taking off earlier and with smaller sizes than I expected. That means less drag, more agility, and a more responsive feel overall.”

“This is the first parawing that doesn’t feel like it’s trying to be something else—no kiting, no wingfoiling hybrid. It’s its own thing. And it feels damn good.”

“For the first time, I wasn’t thinking about technique or gear. I was just ridingriding the wind, the swell, and the moment. That’s the difference.”

Why Aeryn ?

Aeryn is a collective of watersports visionaries shaping the future of wing foiling. With deep technical roots and a focus on minimalist design, we create intuitive, durable gear that empowers you to ride with confidence. From your first steps to expert-level progression, our products deliver precise control and a fluid connection with the water.

Born from years of foil innovation, Aeryn stands for gear that performs without complication freeing you to focus on the ride. We don’t follow trends; we refine what matters.

Aeryn P1 parawing catches golden light on sparkling waters. The turquoise wing with distinctive branding stands fully inflated, displaying its aerodynamic shape against mountainous backdrop. A bird soars above, mirroring the wing's flight-like qualities. White control lines connect to the rider as the hydrofoil lifts the board from the water's surface, creating that signature floating effect wing foiling is known for.
