Kite Safaris: Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Maldives & Cook Islands

We have permanently teams based both in Australia and Indonesia and our Safaris run all year round provided weather permits. You can pick your own dates and duration and they will meet you at port/airport. Bring your partner, friends, family, kids, any numbers, any duration, be it just for the weekend, a week or even longer. Kite everyday if weather permits, lessons also available, and lots of other activities you can do too, from windsurfing, wingfoiling, paddleboarding or local sight-seeing tours! Prices start from $699 for a weekend getaway!

If you wish to join in our main group, we have set dates and 4 destinations you can join us too. Dates for 2026 have already been set! Whether you are a total beginner or an advanced adrenalin seeker, you will find both destinations very suitable, user friendly, and family or partners all welcome. Lots of other activities everyone can do, as well as local exploration.

Australia (Brisbane, Queensland):

1 day activities with no transfers: A$600

2 days activities with 1 nights package: A$1540

All packages include airport and local transfers, accommodation, 4 hours of activities each day, except for 1 day packages. Accommodation is normally at the Brighton Hotel, Brighton. Upgrade to the Palms International at Virginia is available (subject to availability) at an extra A$100 per night. 

Brisbane normally get consistent seabreeze (13-18ts) every day between October to April each year in Brisbane.


Indonesia - Tour runs all year round. Our resident Manager host individuals, families to large groups. 7 days package starts from US$1999 including land transfers, 4 star accommodation with breakfast daily, kite safety support daily, 2 local tours. 

The best months for wind in Bintan, Indonesia, are during the Northeast (NE) monsoon season, which typically runs from November to March, with peak wind often occurring from December to February. This period brings consistent trade winds, making it ideal for wind sports like kitesurfing or windsurfing.

Kite everyday if weather permits, lessons also available, and lots of other activities you can do too, from fishing, wakeboarding, sailing, windsurfing, jetskiing, snorkelling or diving!

Our group dates for 2026 are Tour 1: 27 July - 2 Aug (7 days) US$1999, Tour 2: 3-9 Aug (7 days) US$1999, and/or Tour 3 (14 days): 27 July - 9 Aug 2025 US$3499.

Join us for a professionally organised holiday. All our safaris suit both kiters and non-kiters, families, friends and partners, but the location is most ideal for kitesurfing. Environment is flat and shallow with steady wind. Suitable for beginners to advanced riders.

Where we stay is where we EAT, PLAY & SLEEP each day! No travelling required.

Other than kitesurfing, there are plenty other activities to choose from too. From windsurfing, standup paddling, kayaking, snorkelling, cycling, diving, island explore, boat tours, city tours, village tours, to facials and massages.

Experience a new culture, it is also a great ‘Getaway Break’ at a very affordable price. The second we meet you at the airport, we will take care of everything for you. Surf Connect is well known for its superb organisation and totally ‘stress free’ trips.

Last safari was pretty perfect, with the Wind Gods treated us well. Hopefully 2026 will be as good if not even better! There will be again a one or two weeks option.

We have been running safaris since 2014, and safaris are professionally organised trips where we take care of everything and pamper you. Well prepared and scheduled, you simply put your feet up and you do not need to worry about a single thing. Alcohol is of course allowed and available, but we do not want anyone to go overboard and behave silly.
