About SUPERNATURAL SSD 2026

The possibility of riding and having fun in much lighter winds than many other windsports is very exciting. We’ve been looking at how to spend even more time on the water, without compromising ease of use when it comes to handling or performance. That’s why we’re introducing SuperNatural Short Span Design.

SuperNatural SSD has a shorter wingspan by increasing the strut length and adding side struts, which allow for a more boxed shape in the wingtips. This shape is perfect for lightwind performance! For added ease of use, we increased the dihedral (arc) angle to keep the wingtips from touching the water. Combined with our new ErgoCarbon boom, these large wings are super easy to handle and absolute beasts in light wind performance.

That’s not everything! We all know that light winds can easily pick up, so we made sure to tune the canopy and profile so that it stays very controllable in higher wind speeds, so you don’t have to worry about switching wings, and can keep on riding and focus on what you love doing.

SUPERNATURAL SSD 2026 has big improvements in profile, outline, and seams, making it more efficient, lighter weight, and stiffer. This results in even more power in the low-end with a profile that doesn’t feel like a big truck when the wind picks up.

UD Vectran stringers
Vectran stringers inside the Leading Edge make the wing stiffer, and makes sure the wing holds its shape for much longer over time.

Extremely light
Focus on having the wing as light as possible while keeping it stiff and efficient. The light weight makes SUPERNATURAL SSD handle very easily, stays in free-fly in low winds, and greatly reduces arm fatigue.

Full Carbon Ergoboom
Pistol grip for free-fly quick access and keeping control of the wing’s angle of attack to match finger’s shapes. Made with 100% pre-preg carbon for unmatched strength to weight ratio.

Three strut design
Two added struts make it possible to keep rigidity in a low-aspect shape design. This greatly increases efficiency and power in light-wind.

Easy to handle
The boxy shape, increased dihedral, and squared wingtips not only increase low-end performance, they also prevent the wingtips from touching the water and improve ease of handling. You’d be surprised how easily even shorter people just get up and going.

Size guide


SSD wings are not designed as “the lighter the wind, the bigger the wing”. Instead, we recommend you  choose 1 SSD wing as your ultimate light-wind wing, and pick the size according to your weight in the size chart.

Price beat, stock availability and shipping costs

All Reedin dealers around the world adhere to the same retail price set by Reedin. If you find another shop with a lower price, simply email us for a price match. Don't forget, if you order from a shop in the Netherlands for example, although you may not have to pay their 21% VAT on export, you will still be charged import duty (6-30%) and tax (10%) on arrival. Also higher shipping costs, extra time and the risks of damage during transit. And if there was an issue or warranty claim, you will need to return the item to them at your expense.
