Windsurf Lessons

As we enter the winter months, the wind is less consistent, so we may not be able to run lessons every day. However, there will still be good, windy days here and there throughout the winter.

If you would like to make a booking, simply purchase a voucher above and contact us by email (info@surfconnect.com) or by phone (07-3137 0500) to reserve a date that suits you. If the wind is not suitable on your chosen date, we will contact you at least two hours before the lesson is due to start, so you can choose another date to try again.

Vouchers are fully refundable (less 2% Shopify's fee), if session cannot be run at your booked in date due to weather. 

Lesson pricing:

1 hour Lesson for 1 Person: $250

1 hour Lesson for 2 or 3 Person: Not available. 

2 hours Lesson for 1 Person: $350

2 hours Lesson for 2 Person: $450

2 hours Lesson for 3 Person: $550

8 hours Sailing Australia/AWSA Certificate Course for 1 Person: $1500

8 hours Sailing Australia/AWSA Certificate Course for 2 Person: $2000

8 hours Sailing Australia/AWSA Certificate Course for 3 Person: $2500

Public Holidays attract 15% surcharge.

Lesson price includes all equipment. Note: All 2 or 3 person lessons share one set of equipment and one instructor. If your chosen category is not on the booking calendar, simply buy a Gift Voucher by clicking here and contact us to make booking.

You will also receive 10% discount after your first lesson, and you can claim back what you spent on your first 4 hours of lessons as purchase discount towards any of our new packages in stock. 

Lessons are normally run at high tide early mornings at Sandgate, when wind is at a manageable level and water is nice and close at our location. Tide chart can be viewed at: Sandgate Tide chart. 

Windsurf lessons with Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and Australian Sailing (AS) qualified instructors.

Booking terms and conditions:

1. All bookings are to be made by 5pm the day before, unless you have been advised otherwise.

2. Changes of date/times allowed provided a minimum of 24 hours notice is given. No shows will void payment/voucher. 

3. Amendments under 24 hours due to medical reasons is allowed provided a valid Doctor's note is supplied, and a rebooking fee of $50 is paid. 

4. We strongly advise you take out your own insurance cover, as we do not accept any liabilities for any injuries or property loss or damage. Most home insurance policies may already include such cover, or allow you to add on as additional cover. If required, we can also recommend insurance company. 

5. Registration and indemnity form must be completed prior to activity. Booking confirmation will not be issued unless registration form is received.

6. Safety apparel must be worn at all times during activity.

7. Participants weight limit is governed by our safety gear sizes. We have from XS to XXL.
